You Saved Me is the second book in the Meadow Springs Series by Hillary Leigh. It was released on 27th May 2026 and I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy to read before this.
The great thing with this book and series is that while it is a part of a larger story you donβt need to have read the first book in order to enjoy and understand these characters and their stories.

Last Resort is follows the story of Abby Ashe who has ended up on her honeymoon alone and going through a major life change. What she didnβt expect was to bump into her first love Miles Barker at the same resort.
What I loved about this story is that both main characters are equals in the sense that yes while it focuses predominantly on Abby from the beginning, we also learn more about Miles as an individual and what has happened in his life to lead him to here as well.

I feel like Iβm getting the hang of being an ARC reader and Iβm really enjoying all the different books Iβve been lucky enough to receive a copy of!
This is a first for me as Hold On To Me is Faye Westβs debut novel! All other copies Iβve received so far have been by authors who already had other books published so this was really exciting to get an insight at a brand new author and dive into their world.
Hold On To Me is out 20th April and all I can say is wow, I can honestly say this should be a best seller straight away! I finished it in one sitting, I was so engrossed in the story from the beginning I couldnβt put it down and at the same time didnβt want it to end.

My first ARC read of the year! So excited to have been selected for an ARC copy of Khris Andrewβs A Time For Love and further my experience of reviewing books and falling in love with new stories and authors.
A Time For Love is released on the 31st March and I canβt recommend enough to grab a copy!
Something totally new for me, being a beta reader aka getting to read a copy of a book before itβs published and released! A general definition of a beta reader is for them to give feedback on a draft from the perspective of an average reader.
I signed up to the applications to be a beta reader for Victoria Janeβs newest book, a Christmas novella through her instagram and was absolutely over the moon to be selected.
So this was a first for me but when I saw Laurie Gilmore was coming to Waterstones in Newcastle I couldnβt miss it!
An evening with Laurie Gilmore was a book talk, Q&A and book signing event all about her best seller firm favourite book series set it the idyllic fictional town of Dream Harbour.

Ok so I can confirm that meeting your favourite celebrity never gets old. How wild that in 9 months Iβve met Bethany Joy Lenz 3 times – twice virtually and once in person at Wilmington airport at baggage claim (literally could not believe my luck/the timing of that one haha)
